I can just show you, what our costs was - they are very variable... You can drive the transafrica with 15`000 Kilometers or with 50`000 depending on your route.. Fuel will be the most expensive part... But maybe our costs will help you a bit to calculate:
Our costs was: 3500 USD for fuel (diesel, with average usage of 16.55l/100km - we drove 20`500 Kilometers), 1500 USD for Visas (if you play save and get some of them with multiple entry (for the case you have to find another way because of the weather or road conditions) 650 USD for the ferry between spain and morocco (that was from barcelona, when you drive more to the south - it will be cheaper).
Other costs are very variable - at sample when you often stay at 5star hotels in the capitals - your costs will explode ;-)
Food is very cheap - but differs on you habits and needs. We cooked our own food - and bought nice filets and so on - and ended with maybe 200 USD for two months (without the restaurants).
I suggests to buy stuff like sauces and pesto in Europe, they are hard to find - and very time consuming for making them by yourself during the trip.4x4reisendhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13114182862108313001noreply@blogger.com
